The games in my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 Windows 10 are lagging and has fps drop while charging.

I bought my laptop a month ago and there was no lag and fps drops when started playing. Recently my fps games like valorant and Genshin Impact are lagging while its charging. I tried many solutions but it is still happening. So to get smooth gaming I have to play while it is not plugged in so i can play without fps drop and lag. I tried doing the nvdia settings that I absolutely have no idea if it worked or not. What should I do?

Don't ever use your laptop while it is on charging. Once i was editing my Reddit Images while my laptop was on charging. All of sudden it burst and after that i never used. So be careful everyone.

Currently both On battery and Plugged in are on maximum power savings.

1)Try this-
-Go to the search box next to the windows icon and type Edit Power plan (next to your selected PowerPlan then click to open it.
-Click on Change Advanced Power Settings
Expand Processor Power Management and then expand Maximum processor state
-Change the Plugged In to 100%
-Expand Switchable Dynamic Graphics and then expand Global Settings
-Click on drop under Plugged In and select Maximize Performance
-Expand Multimedia Settings and then expand When playing Video
-Then under Plugged In select Balanced
-Click Apply and then click OK
-Restart PC and verify

In advanced power settings the Switchable Dynamic Graphics is not in there or missing. How do I access it?

Then it may only available for amd system.
Go to nvidia control panel→3d Settings under global settings set high performance nvidia processor then apply, ok and check

Try updating the driver and disabling Direct X in the in-game settings (if enabled)

Also, rebooting the system works wonders for little gremlin issues so try that when facing minor future problems.

edit: rereading your problem I too suggest battery and charger issue since your tried nitro sense power settings and windows power settings. You could download HWinfo 64 as well and see how much TGP the GPU is getting and reference that with online values too see any abnormalities.
