Good day comrads. So,  some time ago i saw information about AMD 5700G APU.
This thing  placed in my mind  and today i found specialist , who will mode my bios and inject AMD 5700G APU  code to support list.
My opinions are:
1) TDP - 65w (the same as our 2700)
2) B450 chipset - it will support new APU (AMD have it in list)
3) 2nd Vega 8 GPU on chip - Hello AMD dual graphics (i really expect this)
4) 25%+ powerful processor !!!!

Is my wish look like stupid dreams , or it is possible?  I want your opinion.

=) IMO, don’t attempt anything that is not recommended by Acer and/or OEM and designed for the Predator PH517-61 and is beyond its capabilities e.g. performance and especially cooling! Allot of people claim allot of things but, in the long rum it’s you that will suffer if this mod fails! The OEM Predator PH517-61 top spec CPU of the AMD RYZEN 7 2700 Base Clock 100MHz at 8 cores, 16 threads 3.2 GHz up to 4.1 GHz to the AMD Ryzen 7 5600G which is a desktop CPU (different design of its cooling capabilities to achive its listed specs that a laptop doesn’t have) that its Base Clock 100MHz at 8 cores, 16 threads, 3.8 GHz up to 4.6 GHz is pretty much the same specs and you won’t gain much in performance if it won't damage your laptop? The TDP compatibility is not the same between a laptop CPU and a desktop CPU as desktop CPU’s can be cooled much more efficiently than laptop CPU’s also, and the AMD Ryzen 7 5600G is not 25% more powerful as its only 0.6GHz higher in Base Clock and 0.5% in Boost clock.

Also doing these sorts of mods might be fine in a desktop with the many cooling options that a desktop has but in a laptop you are limited so how are you going to keep this laptop cooled as you can’t increase its fan and/or heatsink size and capabilities? As laptops can’t be cooled like desktops (well they can be but it won’t be a laptops anymore) also this will not be a reliable mod as it will damage and make your laptop unusable and unreliable as it wasn’t designed for that CPU. My opinion is that you should not change your Predator PH517-61 keep it OEM as it’s got plenty of performance in its OEM form and with the top of the range AMD Ryzen 2700 CPU.

we have desctop proccesor. AS for me it is:
CPUID CPU Name    AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Eight-Core Processor
    CPUID Revision    00800F82h
    TDP 65w

But ACER , want's  to sell new laptops . Unic configuration! but without support. Take a look to drivers zone :)))
So i can Upgrade it by myself.
Cooling is problem - NO!  same TDP and good thermointeface
Don't look at Mhz of new 5700g - it is new gen  processors  and it is faster. 25% than 3700
Second GPU will give this laptop more YEARS of actuality. In present time ACER can't give me this stops support.
We have desctop configuration with AM4 socket and desctop cipset without any possibility to upgrade it ?
I bought it (it isn't cheep) to look how it became monument of possible powerbook ?
Why ACER done this config ? It was an EXPEREMENT!  I will do the same.
