My AN515-53-52A Died and won't restart/charge

Last weekend was playing a game with the laptop plugged in, when all of a sudden a low battery message popped up and it shut down. Since then have not been able to get the laptop to power back on, the light to indicate charging is not lit when plugged in (have tried multiple outlet and even got a replacement charger still no luck). Have done a battery reset, have removed the battery, have even purchased a new battery and replaced the old one and yet still no success on getting the laptop to turn on. I cannot see any visible damage on the motherboard from anything that could have burned out. The charging port still seems sturdy and doesn't seem like there is a break anywhere. Basically laptop was perfectly fine for 18months and then all of a sudden battery died and can't get it to charge or restart.

I'm at a loss and basically out of options left to try before thinking it's just bricked. Any ideas are appreciated and helpful.

    Hi Goalie817,

Try to charge the laptop with different charger.

I got an additional charger and still no luck. Tried multiple chargers, 2 batteries, battery reset. I wonder if the charging port has a short.

Goalie817 be aware as you have done all that you could do for a novice to try and repair your power problem(s) but, charging issues and power issues are a very complex and need to be diagnosed by an experienced technician as your AN515-53-52A has deeper problems than a charger/battery issues, it’s an internal power related circuitry issue(s) and that can only be diagnosed with appropriate tools and an experienced technetium. My suggestion to you is this, take your laptop to either Acer or an experienced technetium in your area that has can fix these problems.
