How can I stop the speaker noise on my Acer Aspire U5-710 AIO?

My pc started making a noise recently when starting up or restarting. It will go on for five minutes or so and stop, until next time it starts or wakes up. I eliminated everything like the fans and the hard disk. It turned out it is the speakers making the noise which is like a fan noise but also it is pulsating. I have tried everything, I found on the internet to solve the speaker problem withoug any luck. Turning volume right down, muting speakers, disabling the speakers, or uninstalling them does not stop the noise. Short of cutting both wires off and physically removing them, I don't know what else to do. I will appreciate any help with this.

First of all we need to isolate the problem..  These type of issues will happen only on old computers.

Since you are getting the sound while starting the computer.    It might be coming from

    Speakers
    hdd
    power supply
Dust  ( Due to dust inside power supply or fan )
Processor Fan or power supply fan  ( Even some wires might be touching the fan while it is rotating )
cd drive / Dvd drive  ( Check whether any cds are dvds present inside the optical drive )

Disconnect the speaker wires which are connected to motherboard and check..
Disconnect the hdd and check ..
Try to clean the dust using vacuum cleaner..
Check whether the sound is coming from the processor fan or power supply fan..
Disconnect the optical drive and check..

Thanks for your reply Acer-William. As I said it is the speakers making the noise. After your reply, I disconnected the speaker wires from the motherboard and it is very quiet. Not one bit of noise from anywhere. Is there a way to solve this problem?

Move your wifi router, wireless bluetooth keyboard and mouse, CFL light bulbs and all other items that create RF interferance.

Thanks Joe9844. It is only happening when the pc is starting or restarting or waking up from sleep mode. Then, after 5 -10 minutes it stops. It seems like there is a fault with the computer where the motherboard is sending a signal to the speakers during the start up.

If you boot into the BIOS or to the boot menu, does it happen? Or does it only happen when Windows starts to load?

Hi Billsey, thanks for your question. It happens even before Windows starts to load.

OK, are you still in warranty? Now would be the time to contact Acer support if so, since it pretty much has to be hardware. I'm guessing there's a speaker wire pinched and that's leaking to ground, giving the hum.
