Is this a reversible effect or something is wrong with my laptop? There are lots of what appears to be bubbles that when scratched, leaks out some kind of liquid that smells kind of metallic, is it due to weather conditions?

What laptop do you have? Do you have any contaminants that might be getting on the surface?

I am using a Swift 5 model laptop. Don't have any contaminants getting on it, my friend said it is water marks due to condensation, might be likely due to Singapore's recent weather...

Yeah, I've never seen that before, even in humid environments. Perhaps a combination of the humid air and salt from the ocean?

Not sure, I don't live near the ocean. Live near a canal and an industrial estate.

There is definitely some sort of solvent getting to it... Hopefully it's not in the air that you breathe, that could do nasty things to your lungs. :(
