acer predator helios 300 stuttering

So i have a Acer predator heios 300. I have had this laptop for about 4 months now and no problems till recently.
intel core i7-9th gen
GTX166oTi

I thought it was just over watch but its happened on War-zone and smite, and apex legends as well. I dont know where it came from or what I did but its causing major issues for me making it borderline impossible to play.
It stutters, as in the game plays then skips a little bit then i can play again then it does the same thing over and over.
My FPS has always been 144 cap being that my display is 144hz but now it will drop to even like 90 or 80 and then my game skips then it goes back to 144 then drops again. Over and over. I even put all my settings to low and  no change.
Someone  please help.

Just received mine yesterday (18MAY2020) and after 2 hours of playing Gears 5 (directly on Xbox Microsoft services, not Steam).
It started doing this as well. I lowered my settings to "recommended" and had the Turbo mode ON the whole time.
My ping was at 42 and I was on wifi 5ghz right beside my router. CPU tempatures were less than 90 degrees (don't remember the exact number).
I was playing with a buddy and he confirmed that he wasn't having an issue which rules out the server being the problem.
After I restarted the laptop it stopped. Tried playing 2 other games with "High & Ultra" settings and it was smooth.

So I guess solution right now is to restart the laptop? Kinda surprised for this to happen on day 1...
If I encouter this again, I'll take a picture of the tempatures and keep an eye on this post.

    My spcecs: Predator Helios 300, 17.3" Fhd IPS 144Hz, Ci7 9750H, 16GB, 512GB SSD, GTX1660Ti, Windows 10 English, black, PH317-53-7777.
