Hey all,

My Aspire E 17 (ES1- 711) isn't able to update my windows 10 to version 1803. Have been trying for quite a while now,  but it keeps telling me it failed to install and then starts over and tries again to update. Since I am a few versions behind and my laptop gets slower I really need a solution. I tried to find a drivers update on the Acer website to see if that will make a difference, but I couldn't find it for my serial number. Anyone out here who knows what to do?

Thanks in advance!

You can try to download, install and run iobit's DriverBooster freeware to see if it'll pick up any new drivers that might be compatible with 1803. However, you might be able use Microsoft's USB media creation tool to upgrade to the latest  version 21H1 directly from 1709. An upgrade is riskier than a normal update so you should back up your personal files first.

Hi Easwar, unfortunately this is not what I was looking for. This is all from 2015 and I was hoping there was a more recent version. But thank you so much for trying to help out! Appreciate it.
