hello acer community
i have a problem. recently i bought an msi 144 monitor and  unfortunately it didn't came with display port with it
and i don't know what cable should i buy from my laptop i have acer predator Helios 2020 144 hz rtx 2060
i sheared for buying options  and there where three categories
1- cable that have display port 1.4 to hdmi 2.0     with don't have 144  it's limited to 120 hz
2- mini display cable to HDMI (i don't have much information about it )
3- 1.4 DisplayPort to HDMI  adapter which in the discreption says that it features 144 hz
i will list a photo from number 3
my question is i searched and found that HDMI cables don't have  the ability  to from 144 hz is it going to work if i use the cabe that came with the monitor
or an ordinary hdmi or not please i need an answer ASAP

    The laptop is HDMI 2.0.

Depending on the resolution of the monitor, you may be able to get 144hz over the HDMI if the monitor is 1080p or 1440p

As for which is best, if the monitor has Display port, your best option would be to go from mini display port to display port, failing that options 1/2 are almost the same as they are hdmi! So either or

For the third option , these cables are usually directional, so I would either avoid it, or make sure you are getting the right direction.

Overall, minidp to dp if possible, else may as well just be hdmi!

What is your monitor model? If that monitor have HDMI port, just use HDMI to HDMI for less complicated.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
