Anyone know which 12 to 1 docking hub can be recommended? I was communicating with one seller and he advised to be careful as he heard the chips used in laptop might not be able to use docking hub.

    I believe the vendor is talking about your Thunderbolt port, not the USB 3.0 port or the USB 2.0 port. With various implementations of Thunderbolt they may, or may not, support all the features. Your Thunderbolt supports:
    • Up to 40Gbps Thunderbolt transmission
    • Support USB3.1 Gen 1/2 and Display port 1.4
    • System charging up to 15W
    • Needed additional flash memory
    Some are only gen 1, not gen 2, some don't support DP over TB, some don't support charging the laptop. It looks like yours does everything except charge the laptop, though it's possible they do support that, just don't spell it out. If yours does support charging then you'll need 20V and 45W or larger. If yours doesn't support charging over the TB port, just make sure you don't pay extra for a dock that tries to charge...

    Thanks Billsey, appreciate your help. One of the vendor did mentioned "Compatible with most laptops that support DP Alt Mode(Not a full list):" and Acer is not listed but maybe is being not tested before. Seems no vendor can advise which dock model that can support my Acer model though.

    @Billsey,
     Speaking of Thunderbolt port.

    I have tried researched a lot, trying to find a header cable to connect a Thunderbolt4 port from motherboard to the front panel. So far, all I found is the ASUS dock for it. All I care is to take advantage of the 40 Gbps, I'll use it to supersede the USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port.

    @ttttt ping me separately about your question. obviously the Swift 5 models don't have motherboard headers for external ports...

    @billsey Do you know whether my this model can connect to 2 monitors? One to HDMI and another to USB C ? Or both monitors via a Hub to the USB C  ?

    Yes, you should be able to use two external monitors, one on the HDMI port and one on the USB-C/Thunderbolt.
