I just bought the Aspire TC-392. I would like to know if there is an upgraded power supply with a SATA connection so I can add my SSD Hybrid hard drive. Thanks.

OK, looks like they cheaped out and only put a single in that connector. The double type is:
    ODD/HDD POWER CABLE - FOR 15L 50.VQXD1.007
Try searching for that part number...

For some reason, cannot find anything about Aspire TC-392. Is it the correct model number?
Normally a PC doesn't need power supply upgrade just by adding a drive.
     Maybe yours is special.

Hi, thanks for responding. According to Newegg (where I bought it) it is listed as TC-390-UA92. I'm sorry about that. The reason I need a different power supply is because there is not a connection to plug in a drive. There is a bay, and a connection on the motherboard.

This is a AMD CPU model, interesting!

I assume you have opened the PC case , pulled the additional power wires from the area close to the front panel and checked before you make the claim " there is not a connection to plug".

It will be good if you can take some pictures and post here to verify that.

In my TC-885 model PC, there is a fixed SATA power connector at the "bay" that you mentioned ( this "bay" is at the back side of the DVD drive). See if there is one connector.

Yes, the SATA power comes off the motherboard with that white connector near the SATA ports. The cable that's in there should have two power connectors on it, one for the ODD and one for a HDD/SSD.

Looks like that connector should support two devices only get wires enough for one device.

Hopefully @Billsey can come up with the part number or point you to the right place to get the kind of cable that support two devices with the white connector.
