Issues with Acer Nitro VG240YPbiip monitor, black screen appears when selecting "Show only on 2"

So, I've had this new monitor for about 2-3 weeks and I'm not that great with hardware so I though to come here for help.
Anyways, I was about to go on a video game, GTA5, and I noticed the game had reset my display settings. Then, when I was fixing my display settings, I saw the aspect ratio setting and noticed there was even bigger resolutions I could go up to because of my new monitor. I did mess around with that and then I put it back to it's default, that I would normally have (1920 x 1080).

Then, I went to the display settings because when I noticed the bigger aspect ratios, I was wondering if I had the incorrect one set on my monitor.
This is when problems began. As soon as I set it to a bigger ratio than 1920x1080, my monitor went black, and I had to press Windows + P to change projection settings and have to duplicate or extend my screen now.

I tend to only use the "Show only on 2" setting in displays because on certain games, I lag when both 1 and 2 monitors are showing.
Is there any way to fix this so I can set my display settings to "Show only on 2"?

I've just noticed I had said aspect ratio instead of resolution, please ignore that.

Press and hold windows key and tap on letter P,

You will get the below menu in that gow with the option second screen only.

I know how to enable second screen only, however if you read my thread, I explained how my monitor goes black when enabling it. I've never had this issue before

That's weird... You should have Windows set to use the full 4K on the screen and adjust scale to match your preference. The game might change resolutions on you, but it should go back to normal when you go back to Windows. What GPU do you have, and what does Windows say about the GPU? If it's decided to switch you to the Basic Display Adapter then that might be the cause...
