Acer CP311 will start recovery from usb stick

I have used 3 sticks all the same, starts testing the integrity of usb and then comes up an unexpected error.

Doesn't boot original fault was Chrome OS is missing or damaged.

    Yup, it looks like your model has a 32GB eMMC drive soldered to the MB. Those models came with either a 16GB, 32GB or 64GB eMMC drive and do not have support for anything else. :( Is there any chance you are still in warranty?

    I'm thinking the drive in the Chromebook has failed, so the error is when it first tries a write. Which CP311 do you have?

    thanks, it is a cp311-1hn-c3e3, model n17q8, is the hdd soldered onto the motherboard?
