I had to reimage the PC and now when I use the HDMI my desktop exceeds the screen. I can try adjusting the screen but it never fits. I can use the VGA and it works fine. There was an Acer utility that would allow the screen size to be set.

Are you using an adapter or a direct HDMI cable. Please post the Model Number of the computer and monitor. I'm assuming that the driver for the monitor is OK ?

Larry, thank you for your taking the time to respond. We were eventually able to figure out how to get the desktop to fit the screen, we used the "Intel Graplics Control Panel" on the "Display" and in "General Settings" and under "Scaling" we used the "Customize Aspect Ratio" by setting both slides (horizontal and vertical) to "60".

Again, thank you for taking the time to respond, it is appreciated.

Are you using a TV as the display? Most of them default to using overscan, so the TV programs and videos extend beyond the edge slightly. Usually you can turn overscan off and it gives you the full desktop without having to set custom scaling.
