    Hi l19htn1n,

    # Reset the unit, (It will remove all the data--->Unit goes to Day 1 of default version)

    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold Alt+F10 keys(without releasing the keys) ---> Trun ON the unit.
    3. You will get a blue screen(Release the keys) (choose the title Choose an option).
    4. Click troubleshoot option.
    5. Click on Reset this PC.
    6. Go with the option (Keep my files/Remove every thing)
    7. Then follow the on screen instruction.

Check this T/S and post the result.

Tried using a bootable usb Windows installer but it does not go to the usual installation screen, just black screen with some dotted lines on the screen..

I plan to downgrade the BIOS back to its original version v1.08 but I need to restore or reinstall Windows OS since the downloaded BIOS from the Acer site only came as an EXE file. Need help here please

    Thanks @Easwar

Yes, the BIOS is showing the hard disk drive. I even tried loading the default setting but still the same.
