I have an Acer Aspire A315-41-R95S and I'm planning to buy one of the two ssds
1. https://www.amazon.in/Crucial-BX500-480GB-2-5-inch-CT480BX500SSD1/dp/B07G3KGYZQ/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=ssd+500gb&qid=1618054075&sr=8-4
2. https://www.amazon.in/Western-Digital-SN550-Internal-WDS500G2B0C/dp/B07YFF3JCN/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=ssd+500gb&qid=1618054298&sr=8-3
Will any of them work on my laptop? I can't tell if the laptop supports NVMe or not. If I plug the WD 500gb NVMe website would I be able to run it? Or should I go for Crucial one?

Your laptop m.2 socket only supports SATA3 SSD card speeds. The nvme should work if the m.2 socket has a single M-key but only at SATA3 speed. You're better off, safer & cheaper using an m.2 SATA3 card. Jack

Yes, changing the 2.5" HDD to a 2.5" SSD should give you the biggest speed increase for the money. Also less likely to run into issues some folks have reported with budget nvmes which are not truly full 4x read-write capable like the higher priced samsung evo series. Jack E/NJ.

Have you uninstalled any non-Microsoft virus scanners such as McAfee, Norton, AVG, Avast, etc??? They're no longer needed for most folks as Windows Defender and MaliciousSoftware tool are quite adequate. Jack E/NJ

I've not downloaded any of them. I've only installed Malware bytes and it's not on Autostart either. The task manager also shows 0% disk usage all the time(it's not the normal glitch where it takes like 5 seconds to load the actual usage but it's 0% all the time, it happened just today). I'm not sure what's going on but I'm going to clone my system to SSD before something major happens.

This is the SSD that I've ordered which I'm trying to add along with my HDD and plan to use both of them together.0 -
Yes, I understood that. But you also said in your first post that you were considering the Crucial BX500 which is a 2.5" SATA3. >>>1. https://www.amazon.in/Crucial-BX500-480GB-2-5-inch-CT480BX500SSD1/dp/B07G3KGYZQ/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=ssd+500gb&qid=1618054075&sr=8-4>>>The Crucial MX500 m.2 SATA3 should be a fine addition.
