    Manual enabling of touchscreen should not be required.  Which model of the ZS600 did you buy?

    Try these steps:

    1. Win key + Q.

    2. Type Control Panel.

    3. Go to Hardware and Sound.

    4. Click on Pen and touch function.

    5. In the Pen and Touch window, tap on Touch tab.

    6. Check the box for “Use your finger as an input device”.

    7. Hit Apply to enable the touch display.

    let me know the result.

    I have a ZS600, Windows 8, for which the touchscreen works just fine.

    In your step 5, there is no 'Touch' tab and therefore steps 6 and 7 are not available.

    From Pen and Touch window the options are directly to adjust the settings for single touch, double touch and touch and hold.

    Were your instructions for an OS other than Win 8, or am I missing something?

    Leho,

       Certain models has the Touch tab, and for some models you directly have the options to adjust the settings under 'Pen and touch'. This is no OS dependent, instead varies as per the hardware configuration.
