I'm extremely unsatisfied with acers support and this will most likely be my last purchase after being a faithful customer for about 20 years.

I have an aspire 7750G-6662.
Unit was purchased new in box from best buy about 6 months ago and used literally about 5 times. It resides in my office in a cool dry room with no humidity..

About a month ago i ran into an issue where it wouldnt boot.. after 30 minutes of leaving it plugged in, I powered it on used it, shut it down.

Today I powered it on, the unit booted promptly. I used it for about 20 minutes. Left it on and plugged in. Unit went to stand by, I returned and it came out of stand by.
After use again it went to stand by, however this time was shut down.

Now when I power the unit on, the power light, and indicator light come on. You can hear the fan whirl up a bit, light would flicker, as if the unit didnt have enough of a "running start" so to speak.

The unit will cycle this boot process about 3 times until it gives up and stays off. I've removed components including the hard drives ram optical drive ect.

This loop will happen the same way regardless of charger being used or not, and with the battery installed our removed. I'm under the impression it might be a burnt board, however the unit just worked flawlessly. I've contacted best buy, acer, acer level 2 tech support. Extensive research being done and I cannot find a solution to fix this problem. Has anyone else encountered a problem with these units???
