right when i start up my notebook, i get an error message saying no bootable device. i went online and found a boot up programme. upon itserting it onto a usb and plugging it into my notebook, i get the message BOOTMGR is missing. any help would be appriciated - i have looked around but everyone seems to use CD's to reastart but i dont have a CD rom - thanks in advance - Pizzy37

    No bootable device indicates you have a hard drive problem.  It is not bootable.
