Does any one know, where these pictures are stored or how to access them??????

Checked in the file manager, it is not listed under downloads or the Google drive. checked in the camera gallery, it seems to be blank.

I'm not sure if this applies to your setup, but have a look in My Pictures folder for subfolders called Camera Roll and/or Acer Crystal Eye.

under file manager, I only get the option download and google drive. But the pictures taken are not listed there, also the Camera gallery seems to be empty.

I'm not really into chromebooks so my advice is generic and likely not very useful.  However, I would do a search for folder named Camera and/or Camera Roll.  Also search for files with extension .jpg to see if anything turns up.

We need some help here from chromebook users who have had success with their webcam.  Come on chaps, let's get some useful solutions.

    At last got the solution,

when the pictures are captured, it will go to the gallery. You have to manually save the file from the gallery.

Go the camera gallery - select the file - click on save.

Glad that it worked out for you. I knew there had to be a logical way of finding the pictures.

Thanks to you we now all know how to it.
