My netbook has been stuck in recovery for almost a month now and nothing I do is working, I turn it on, and it goes to the option screen where i can either do a recovery, or continue to normal start up. I tried both, first continue without help, and it just brings me back to the restart screen. Then i try the recovery mode and it takes at most 30 minutes to an hour to just get it to the blue recovery screen, and even then it takes about another hour for it to say that "windows is atempting to fix any problems" and i leave it to sit and come back about 3 hours later and nothing has changed...can anyone help??? I've looked everywhere for help and nothing seems to work...I cant bring it in to get fixed yet because everyone thinks its not worth the money to get fixed...so any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried the acer recovery mode presented by pressing Alt + F10 when the acer bios screen appears after powering on? If not, try it, you may get a positive result.

If the above hasn`t worked you can also try to use the "boot from hard drive" program from the Hirens Boot disc...the link is here...http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/...(edit to add)...it is free to download and use.

I have used this to boot into restore when for some reason it would not work from the usual methods...choose the "boot from hard drive" program...don`t forget to set the BIOS load priority and click save when exiting.
