Extremely Hot laptop after windows 8 upgrade

Hello

I upgraded to windows 8 from windows 7 before i started i removed every application from my laptop except drivers/updates

then did the following:

1. Upgraded using Acer Upgrade Assistant

2. Installed Windows 8 Pro using the "keep everything" option

3. Completed 3 stages on upgrade assistant

4. Completed all driver updates and windows updates

5. Updated apps on the start screen

6. Checked the device manager for any yellow question marks = None

 

Computer loads ok without issues but my computer is really hot and the fan is really blowing heat out

 

My question is should i be concerned or is there anything else i can check to see if everything is updated/ok ?
