Iconia W700 Screen problem

Hello

Bought my Acer Iconia W700 only 2 days ago, and I've got this problem where the screen goes nuts and starts to register "ghost touches", the problem comes and goes, the most annoying part of it is that it usually stops the app Im currently working in (and no I'm not using Chrome) and open up the Acer ring.

The only remedy i've found is hitting the power button to go into hibernation, and wake it up. Then the problem goes away, at least for a little while.

Is there any fix to this? I've seen that I'm not the only one with this problem, but I've havent seen any response or answer for it (except uninstall Chrome),

Would much appreciate atleast an "we're working on it"

Best Regards.

This sounds like an issue with the touchscreen.

The only options I can offer are:

    • Attempt to recalibrate the screen under Touch in Control Panel.
    • Contact technical support in your region - Acer Service and Support
