Warranty sticker on the maintenance bay?

I recently brought an acer aspire v3-571g-73614G50Makk [nx.rznsi.005]. When I turned the laptop over to check the hard disk and the ram I found the warranty sticker over one of the screws securing the maintenance bay thus effectively preventing me from upgrading the HDD or the ram without 'potentially' voiding my warranty. I found this highly unusual and did not expect this from acer. Almost all the laptops in the same budget allow their owners to upgrade their hard drives and the ram.

How do I solve this now? I want to upgrade my hard disk and the ram while also keeping my warranty.

HELP!

I just got my V3 771G and have the same problem. I wanted to install an SSD but don't want to void my warranty. I called Acer support, and they informed me that if i want to install it, i have to break the seal and void my warranty.

What the hell is the purpose of making a laptop with two drive bays and more memory slots if they're inaccessible?! I bought this laptop based on the advertising on the acerstore website that promoted dual drive bays and more capacity for memory. Sigh.

Oh goodness. So I am not alone in this. Can someone from acer confirm this again?

My first time buying a Acer. Never again.
