Restore W510 from a flash drive (for whom has two Recovery DVDs)

For the main steps, Plz follow the post "How to SUCCESSFULLY restore a W510 from a flash drive" (http://community.acer.com/t5/Tablets/How-to-SUCCESSFULLY-restore-a-W510-from-a-flash-drive/m-p/28319#M3021).

 

If you has two Recovery DVDs not one in the previous post, you will get an error to be asked to insert disc 2 of 2 which stops the restore process.

 

To solve this problem, you need to modify the file named "RCD.DAT" which locates in the recovery DVD 1 and actually you don't need the "RCD2.DAT" file.

 

This is what you need to do:

1) Open the file "RCD.DAT".

2) Find the line "PCS = 2".

3) Change it to "PCS = 1".

 

Now, it's done
