I have a new Aspire S7.  I use it much of the time in a tray below my desk, driving a 24" monitor (not touch), with a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.  These are tied in through a Belkin 6 port USB hub. Without any real warning or pattern, the thing would start typing the letter f endlessly.  We tore our hair out, eliminating the hub, changing keyboard/mouse sets, you name it.

The problem?  With the lid down, the unit will heat up and everything starts to swell.  The letter f key has a raised bar on it for touch typing.  The bump is just high enough to interfere with the screen and when it swells enough, here come the f's.  It was really simple to find in the end.  Connect the computer to an external monitor, close the lid, and press down on it.  The lid is so soft, the keys get pushed.  Not all of them will be f keys, although the f and j both have the touch locator bars, so are the best candidates.

This is a non-problem when using it in laptop mode.  We have installed felt pads at the front corners to keep the lid open a bit when it is being used as we normally do - as an external monitor driver.  In our case, "ultra-thin" is "real neat", but has caused a lot of wasted time.  The guys at the Windows store were very nice, but I ended up finding out what was happening myself.

We are deciding whether to return it and what our next brand choice will be.
