Blue screen crash

I have an Aspire E1-571 with Windows 8 and it keeps rebooting itself every half hour or so..

The error is WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR....

Very helpful and descriptive message... NOT..!!

Should I just send it back to the supplier as it's only 2 weeks old or is there a simple fix for this error.

It's my son's birthday present so I'd rather not have to send it away for weeks to get it fixed :-(

Fellows, you might have a complicated problem with a simple solution.

The Whea error is caused by a hardware problem that was about to cause you to lose data. Your computer shut itself down to protect itself.

MAYBE you can solve the problem by using a System Restore point to go back to the time before the problem appeared. Ask yourself what new software you have installed just before the problem appeared, and try deleting that software.

MAYBE you can solve the problem by going back to the factory settings.

Gary, if this doesn't work, I would send the unit back while it is still under warranty. If they give you any arguments, tell them that a Whea error is a hardware problem, and politely insist that they send you a free shipping mailer. If the store will take it back, take them up on it.
