Aspire X3810 no video display

Acer Aspire X3810

Vista Home Premium

 

Powering on but no video display. Says cable not connected. Cable ok and connected.

No error beeps.

 

Any ideas?

    Basic troubleshooting would start with the following:

    • connect another monitor to the system
    • use a different cable to connect the monitor

    Tried all of the usual troubleshooting methods. No joy.

    So decided to reflux/reflow the GPU. Working very nicely now. Smiley Wink
