Aspire S7 bluetooth issue - but not the mouse this time!

I have an Acer Aspire S7 purchased about two months ago and it's current with all the latest updates.

Yesterday my bluetooth capability disappeared and I don't know why - I had not changed anything.

If I go to settings ---> change pc settings ----> wireless, the bluetooth section is grayed out, not letting me move the on/off slider. So it shows bluetooth, but it won't let me turn it on or off.

I spent time with Acer tech support but they were unable to help. They told me to press Fn + F3 (which since I don't have dedicated F keys means I'm pressing Fn + 3), but that just brought up the windows 8 search box on the right side of the screen. They even had me do a BIOS update where I re-set it and rebooted the machine. This did not fix the problem.

Anyone have any ideas? Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Check in device manager to see if Bluetooth related options are listed. If so select the Bluetooth options right click then select uninstall. Remove all Bluetooth items from device manager and restart the computer after restarting the drivers will be reinstalled check if that solve the issue. If not download the latest Bluetooth driver for your model from Acer website.
