T232HL Touchscreen - Top of screen not working, producing random touches

First off, I really like the monitor, I want it to work correctly rather than return it.

 

I have gone through the Windows 8 calibration and been able to make almost everything (all swipes and touches) work properly.  The exception being that along the very top of the image the touch is not working.  It won't recognize a swipe-down gesture (to close a Win 8 app) which is annoying enough.  But, the real problem is that the screen is randomly generating a touch event along the top of the screen - often minimizing or even closing desktop applications and of course stealing the mouse position.

 

Any suggestions?  Anyone else having this problem?

As you have already attempted to calibrate the monitor, there is nothing more that we can do to troubleshoot the issue on the Community.
