ASPIRE x3300

Hi there all i have an acer aspire x3300 it had windows vista 64 bit installed so i decied to upgrade to win7 64 bit all was well been running for a few days then today for some reason its crashed so i powed it off like you do then went to reboot but nothing happed just got stuck on the starting windows screen so i powered of and started it back up and the same thing happend I am no wizz kid when it comes to pcs so as i have the windows 7 disk to hand i thought sod it lets reinstall lets see what happens so i load via f12 boot from disk ect ect now to the install so i formatted the hard disk (bad idea i knw now lol) and click next all is going well untill it stops at the extracting files at 64% saying unable to locate drivers required to intall please reboot now when i try its says failed to start boot thing is missing, ok lets restart and try to install again ,boot from disk ect ect... now no hard disks are displayed , now asking for the installation media disk but i dnt have it bought the comp about 3-4 years ago lost box and all that in move so please some one help
