PS: I've tried lowering the screen brightness. Even lower than 50%. It didn't help.

    Hi all,

from today i'm an "half" happy owner of a w700 used and I have the same problem... First I was thinking about probables damages to the GPU or something like this, but, as I can see, I'm not alone, so it can't be that...
I want to help you saying that I've tried to install all the drivers, first from ACER support (oldest version) for windows 8.1, after from Intel (mid vers) and finally the updated one (Dec 2013) from windows update and NOONE OF THEM SOLVED THE PROBLEM OF GHOST IMAGES.

I've tried also some programs that fixes these problems (like screenfix and some youtube videos) but, of course, nothing happened.

I need to work with photoshop and I shouldn't see fake transparency!
Let me know if someone finds a solution.
    Thanks.

I was about to place the order and then I rushed into threads like this (think about "thread-s"), and deal broken.

Not only the burning in problem that's disappointing, the most horrible thing is simply Acer just doesn't give a single **bleep** no matter how many victims are out there..............
