This morning when I switched on my desktop (Acer Aspire Z5700), it couldn't connect via wifi to the internet. It basically said that there was no wifi within the desktop to let me connect & tried pointing me to either an ethernet (which I've never used) or a 3G connection (which I used once about a year ago via a dongle). Initially I thought that the driver had just been disabled & when I eventually found it & tried to enable it again, it maintained it couldn't. I've since connected via an ethernet straight into my wifi modem and run a system update for windows, which did download an update for the LAN card. Now however, I can't find the wireless as a potential connection (enabled, disabled or otherwise). I've downloaded the driver for the wireless LAN but this has had no joy. HELP!!!!
