Hi. I can't seem to get my new USB canon all-in one printer to work with my Acer Aspire M1640 Vista 32-bit desktop.

I have tried all the different USB ports but none seem to communicate with Vista and my printer.

I would appreciate any advise. Thank you

    Hello Tim,
Does your USB ports detect other USB device when plugged in? If so, use the following steps below:

To resolve the issue between your M1640 and the Canon MX360 printer. Please, download the driver from Canon website. Link as follows:

    http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mx_series/pixma_mx360#DriversAndSoftware

After the driver are download to the unit, run and installed the driver without the printer being plugged into a USB port. After the drivers and software are installed restart your M1640, then plug in the USB printer. This should resolve your printer issue.
