Can't Stay Connected!

Sorry, I''m not even sure if I'm in the right place.  I have an Aspire V5-571P with Win 8 and I really like it but can't keep it connected to the internet.  The suggestions made by support have not worked.  I went into the BIOS or whatever they're now calling it and did what they said to no avail.  Other devices stay connected fine except for my grandson's Win 8 that he just got (Dell).  Is this a coincidence, and doe anyone have any suggestions that I can relay to the computer-savvy ones around here?

 

They've just given me a link to download the proper wireless network adapter--but I can't get online on that computer!  Eventually, I will be able to (I hope).  But shouldn't that already be active?  And why can I get on sometimes and not others?  Sorry if these are stupid questions, but I'm just trying to get things working properly...

Mine has the same problem!!!  Will connect for a bit, but drops the connection A LOT!!!  I have to disconnect from the internet manually, and reconnect every time I surf - multiple times............
