Acer laptop webcam stand-alone driver, Acer, please?

I guess there has been a lot of post about Acer Crystal Eye Webcam but our scenarios are somehow never the same. This would be mine and I desperately need answers or solution if anyone from Acer company itself could answer:

I have an Acer Aspire One. Just a while ago, my Ace Crystal Eye Webcam stops working and it told me to update the driver. So, I did. Once in it's update, it suddenly popped a message of 'Acer Crystal Eye Webcam detected. ...etc' basically telling me that the uddate needs the old version of Acer Crystal Eye Webcam to get unsitalled before installing the update one, well that's what I understood. I clicked Yes and the Acer C.E.W.C. gets unistalled. After it though, the update popped out a message that said 'Webcam not found.' Which got me confused, because I felt, the Acer update fooled me into unistalling it just for an update (which is already suspicious since updates should only override the old version or like it's purpose, update the old version of the software.)

I tried resolving it. I tried reinstalling the Acer Crystal Eye Webcam from eRecovery nor downloading the drive from the site BUT it wouldn't let me because it still cannot find the driver for the webcam. I thought about repairing it or updating the driver by going to Device Manager, which resulted to failure since because, oh hey, the webcam doesn't have a STAND ALONE DRIVER. It's literally non-existent without the Acer Crystal Eye Webcam, which for me is funny and like a rip-off. I didn't have any choice but do the whole System Restore. I did got the Acer Crystal Eye Webcam back but I'm back to square one, which my webcam and the Acer C.E.W.C. still not working.

Now, I noticed that there's still a big and on-going discussion how this get's resolved without doing the whole reformat thing but now the only thing I can think is, WHY DOESN'T THE WEB CAM FEATURE OF THIS LAPTOP DOESN'T HAVE A STAND ALONE DRIVER? I think that's where it's all the problem coming from, even if the acer updates makes you unistall the old version of Acer C.E.W.C., at least the web cam has it's own driver for other web cam software could get installed and the web cam could be repaired and updated separtely. Now, stop right there if you say that the Acer Cryatal Eye Webcam IS the driver for the webcam, well that's just [word filter avoidance], isn't it? It's like saying that HP laptops' webcam driver is CyberLink YouCam.

If after all of this, there isn't any solution. Acer, please, just freaking listen, fix this. You cannot expect me nor future consumers to be happy about this error. Either fix the Acer updates way of installing or do a separate web cam driver for your laptops. Thank you.
