Sons laptop was trying load windows and just sat there, I was told to reload to factory settings by hitting ALT and F10.  This worked but now I am getting new error- When broadcom undi pxe 2.1 v12.2.0 tries to load-get error pxe-e61 media test failure ,check cable.  PXE-M0F existing broadcom pxe rom. No bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key.  I do not  have any discs -any idea how to fix this.  Can I fix using any f-keys to get to menus and choose different options etc....?

The laptop is an ASPIRE  Intel p6200.

Sounds as though the hard drive may be faulty...if the above reply of reloading your OS doesn`t work it would probably be the hard drive...I have bought used hard drives from eBay and never had problems...you wil though need to re-install your operating system...have you made back-up discs ?
