OS Reinstall Failure on W500

Last week I was bringing my tab out of hibernation, and when I was entering my password on the profile login screen, the tablet suddenly gave the sound of an error message and stopped responding to any and all inputs/commands. Being completely frozen, I hard restarted it and when I did so, it displayed the initial Acer screen, then the Windows Boot Manager screen saying:

Windows failed to start...(Reinstall OS instructions)...

File \Boot\BCD

Status: 0xc000000e

Info: An error occured while attempting to read the boot configuration data.

Pressing the Windows key displays the Acer screen again, which gives me the option to enter the DOS boot setup briefly (nothing to do here), then attempts to start and then sits on the screen that says that there's no bootable device.

Well, (profanity). Not seeing any other solution, I attempted to reinstall Windows from the recovery discs, and when I do so, the Acer eRecovery Manager starts, loads some files for a bit and the displays a message asking to confirm a system reinstall or wait 60 seconds for restart (counting down). I hit the key to confirm the reinstall, and the tablet restarts, and goes through the whole eRecovery process again, once more asking me to confirm a reinstall or wait for a restart. I cannot progress past this screen.

So, what do I do? Why did the tablet crash in the first place? I haven't made any recent changes in any capacity, no downloads, hardware or software changes, nothing. The tablet is fairly new, as I purchased it brand-new in Febuary (had never been opened or used). Any help would be appreciated.
