Kernel sources for all Acer smartphones

This message for Acer support...

I check all kernel sources of Acer smartphones for MTK chipsets,

Acer support think that all users did dummies?

After my message about sources for Z110 and Z120, sources of Z110 is downloadable, Z120 repacked, BUT!

Againe the sources of Z120 packed with TAR in the same directory, where call archiver and againe include dupllication bad archive. Another example - sources of Cloud Mobile S500 (ICS and JB sources) - not include any parts of mediatek sources, needed for build the kernel for this smartphone Woman Sad

And finally...

ALL!!! SOURCES of Acer smartphones IMPOSSIBLE TO BUILD WORKED KERNEL for smartphones!!!

Because not include NEEDED PART sources for mediatek build - directory of configs for platform MTK

./mediatek/config/mt65XX

./mediatek/config/common

and configs for thats smartphones:

./mediatek/config/{NAME_OF_PROJECT}, name like as simcom75_cu_jb ...

in this directory files BoardConfig.mk and ProjectConfig.mk includes all settings for build kernel for smartphone.

Acer will be BETTER!!! give the full and worked tree of kernel sources!

Hi,

The Mediatek folders you refer to will only be available in the source code for smartphone models based on a MediaTek CPU, which the CloudMobile S500 is not. The source code will only contain the references for the CPU the model actual uses, which is normal for Android source code packages.
