how do I get 5.1 sound from acer AX3470

I have an acer AX347, with AMD A8-8320 processor. When I bought it, it advertised it to process 7.1 or 5.1 surround capability. So my question is what do I need to have or do to get it? I use a 5.1 Logitech system on the PC with optical and coax input on controller for speakers.
