Altos G330 HDD failure (red led light) - but which drive?

I have an Altos G330 w/ 4 drives in Raid 1 configuration (two pairs).  The HDD light is on constant red.  The manual says amber, but I am assuming this is the same.  How do I tell which drive is actually the problem?

OS is RHEL 5.

     Hello Strafford,

When Red Hat Enterprise Linux is installed a Altos G330 server there are two ways to verify your HDD findings:

    Hot-plug HDD LED indicators

A drive activity LED indicator is mounted on the hot-plug HDD carrier. The table below lists the possible drive states.

    Status                                 Green           Amber                                 Description

HDD access Blinking                 —                                                         Ongoing hot-plug HDD activity

HDD failure                             —                  On                                   Hot-plug HDD failure

HDD rebuild                     Flashing green/amber                                    HDD is rebuilding data.

ENTER BIOS using : 1 Turn on the server and the monitor. If the server is already turned on, close all open applications, then restart the server. 2 During POST, press F2. If you fail to press F2 before POST is completed, you will need to

    restart the server.

    GO TO Server Management menu

Look in the: Event Logging and Event Log Area Status This will tell what’s going on with the server.

For HDD info using the: to look at your RAID configuration and see which drive is degraded

During POST, press Ctrl-A in the Adaptec Serial Attached SCSI (SAS)

    BIOS prompt.

Entering the onboard LSI RAID Configuration Utility

During POST, press Ctrl-E in the Intel Embedded Server RAID

    Technology information screen.
