    • My Aspire model V3-571-6486 , I5-2450M 2.5 Ghz with Turbo Boost has a very frusting problem.

    The curser jumps around when I am typing. For example if  I am doing an online crossword, it will jump to a new section. Ifin Microsoft Word or Outlook, it will do the same thing. I did uninstall the mouse pointer and reinstall it. It had little effect.

    Could it be the Turbo boost? Any suggestions?

      My guess would be that you are triggering the touchpad as you type.

      Try <Fn> + <F7> to disable it and see whether that solves the problem.
