How do I open folders that I download from here?

I've been trying to downlowd a wireless driver that I need. However when I try to extract the files from the zipped folder it creates, I get a prompt telling me I can't because the folder is empty. what the heck is going on, and what am I suposed to do??

Try downloading the file to your desktop...does it do the same thing?
