Cloning brand new AO725

Hi,

Before first boot/win8 activation, I would like to perform a usb/clonezilla/live session (just in case...) to have a whole HD clone.

Is it possible such a session before the first boot of my brand new netbook without risk of damages?

Howto?  (what key stroke) for :

  1. selecting boot device?
  2. enter BIOS setup ?

Thanks for answers!

I think you'd have to remove the HDD and have some equipment to clone the drive itself. When you finish the 1st boot, you can create factory image disks that are basically the same thing. http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12866

BIOS on Acer notebooks is F2 and the boot device should be F8, F10, or F12.

    Thanks Clyde,

I 've tried to start the machine and press F2 But it doesn't enter the BIOS setup.

I 've tried to with an usb stick (clonezilla) but nothing more than the license page appears.

Looks like locked untill to accept the license... not very cool!
