The power switch on my A500 seems to have failed. We purchased the tablet in Feb 2012. Help!

How do I get service or is there something I am doing wrong? I am really enjoying my tablet and really missing it now.

    I would go to your acer global site.

     

    Click on support

     

    Then > Get Support

     

    You will be provided with a number to call so you can service your tablet.

    I have the exact same problem except i got mine in june. the only way to get support is to pay to talk to someone!! i think its $20 for only 10 min! its insanity. Ive tried local repair shops but around my area they only fix iPads. im so disappointed. i actually really enjoyed my tablet.

    I have two A 500's  , last week my power button on the A500 i recently purchased failed , i opened up the tab and found the same problem all of you are having . i decided to strip my other one that is a year and a half older and found that the switch is properly secured and soldered onto the board with the securing pins going right through the board . Acer need to look at there manufacturing process .
