I have an aspire 6920. Hdmi drivers

I have the Aspire 6920. The HDMI port was covered but there is an actuall plug. So I removed the cover. I cant find any HDMI drivers. I think that it was available on the Aspire 6920G, but cant find anything on that one either.

So is there anyway to get the HDMI port to work. flash the bios?? or upgrade to the GeForce 9600m GS video card?

HDMI would be driven by the video card.

The specifications for both the 6920 and 6920G show HDMI as a possible output, varying by model.

 

It is possible that the system you have does not have the HDMI port enabled, which could be why it was covered.

 

You are welcome to test the HDMI with an external HDMI monitor or TV.
