Hi Guys, I have an Acer Ferrari 1100-TL66 laptop running on Vista 64-bit. Havent had any problems with it until a few days ago when i noticed a problem with the AC adapter voltage that seem to be "fluctuating" while the laptop is turned on.
What happens is that if i have the adapter attached to the laptop while it's on while plugged in to the outlet, there are times when it beeps several times in a second indicating turning off and on of the charging. When this happens, the screen usually flickers, battery charging indicator on laptop turns on and off along with the beep, and the led light on the AC adapter flickers as this problem happens then returns to normal green. It will go stable for a few mins to an hour and it just happens unpredictably.
I already brought my AC adapter to Acer's Authorized service center & they have found nothing wrong with it. While connected to the power outlet & the other end is not connected to the laptop, they measured the voltage & it's seemed stable without any fluctations.
I have researched a bit on issues with adapter, short-circuits, and the like and I already tried disconnecting the wires of the power adapter, removed the laptop battery, and put it all back again but the problem is still not solved. Need help please!
