AN16-41-Problem with the nitrosense, bios and ryzen master

Hello,

I have an Acer AN16-41 laptop and I am experiencing multiple issues:

1. NitroSense worked correctly before I downgraded my system from Windows 11 to Windows 10. After returning to Windows 11, NitroSense no longer opens, even after installing the latest version compatible with my device.
2. Ryzen Master cannot be installed or validated.
3. I cannot update the BIOS — the system reports that no ROM file is found.
4. I have tried updating and reinstalling Acer drivers, but the issues persist.

Could you please provide guidance on how to restore NitroSense and Ryzen Master functionality, and how to properly update the BIOS if needed?

Jumping between different Windows versions is a recipe for problems. Your system is designed for Windows 11 24H2 and should not be downgraded to Windows 10, especially with an AMD chipset.

Please check your BIOS version. The latest release is BIOS 1.25 dated 2024/10/25. Update to this version if you haven’t already.

After a clean install of Windows 11 24H2 (hold off on 25H2 for now), let Windows Update install all the system drivers automatically. The only Acer software you need to download separately is PredatorSense.

Before installing PredatorSense, repair the system image and files:

1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
2. Run: Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and press Enter. This can take up to 30 minutes, just wait.
3. When finished, run: sfc /scannow and press Enter.
   • If it ends with “Found corrupted files that were repaired”, repeat the SFC command until you see “…did not find any integrity violations”.
