Acer TravelMate Spin P414RN-51 says no bootable hard drive detected. Please help

I have an Acer TravelMate Spin P414RN-51 with BIOS v1.48. I have an M2 SSD 2Tb as my only hdd. After accidentally letting this laptop's battery charge run down, i get a message no bootable disk detectable (or similar). Going into the BIOS it identifies the SSD successfully but does not show any USB options to Boot from. After enabling F12 it will still not recognise or allow a USB boot option.

I also cannot change from UEFI to Legacy as Legacy is greyed out.

Any suggestions as to how i can boot from USB after making a bootable USB with Win Media or DiskGenius? Please help - thank you!

First open the back cover of your Spin P414RN-51laptop and with a TORX screwdriver remove the 11 screws of lower case. Then open the buckle with a plastic pick, then remove the lower case from the bottom side

Then take the M.2 SSD drive out and clean its slot pins with isopoll alcohol and do the same to the M.2 SSD drive too, put the drive back into its slot and see if the laptop recognizes the boot drive, if not then your P414RN-51 drive is faulty and you need to buy a new M.2 SSD drive, which this laptop use a Gen 3 x4 lane type drive.

If all the above doesn't make your laptop recognize the M.2 SSD drive, then the drive is faulty, if you have valuable data on this drive take the drive to a data recovery technician so that they can recover all your data, do NOT attempt to this yourself as you will lose your data especially with an SSD drive.

As a last resort, do a Startup Repair and follow that link to the guide from Microsoft and see if the M.2 SSD drive is recognized after doing the Startup Repair, as these are your options.

Note: Do not change the UEFI to Legacy as your2TB drive is formatted with the GUID (GPT) format and Legacy is a totally different format which is MBR and changing that setting will do nothing. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.

In addition to the above you can try to reset the Embedded Controller (EC) on the Spin P414RN‑51 with the Power Button method:

Disconnect AC adapter.
Hold the power button for 15–20 seconds to fully discharge and reset the EC.
Reconnect AC and try to boot again.

If the system still does not boot:

Power off, disconnect AC, and carefully open the lower cover (Torx screws, plastic pick).
Disconnect the internal battery from the mainboard.
With the battery disconnected, connect AC and try to power on directly.
If it boots without the battery, reconnect the battery and test again.
While inside, also remove both RAM modules and reseat them firmly back into their slots to rule out poor contact.
