I recently purchased a Swift Go SF14-51 and I'm experiencing an issue with the touchpad. When the touchpad has been idle for a short period (just a few seconds), and I then gently place my finger on it, it sometimes triggers an immediate click wherever the cursor is. This results in unintended actions like opening links, closing windows, sending emails, etc.
The problem only occurs on the initial touch after the touchpad has been idle. If I’m actively using the touchpad, there’s no issue.
I’ve already tried adjusting the touchpad sensitivity to "Low," but that didn’t seem to make a difference. It doesn’t feel like a sensitivity problem, it’s more like the first touch after inactivity is registering as a click, no matter how lightly I touch the pad.
To mitigate the issue, I’ve had to uncheck the "Tap with a single finger to single-click" option, but that’s not an ideal solution.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to fix it without disabling tapping entirely?
