Hello everyone,
I’m having trouble reinstalling SpatialLabs Experience on my Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition (PH3D15-71).
After uninstalling the software completely and cleaning up the registry, I noticed that the following registry entry seems corrupted:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acer\SpatialLabs
The key Main_Monitor contains this strange PowerShell error message instead of the normal model name:
Au caractŠre Ligne:1 : 3+ . 'C:\Users\me\Documents\WindowsPowerShell\Microsoft.PowerShell_pr ...+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + CategoryInfo : Erreur de s‚curit‚ÿ: (:) [], PSSecurityException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : UnauthorizedAccessModel ----- Predator PH3D15-71
I’ve already tried:
- Deleting the SpatialLabs registry keys manually and rebooting
- Running PowerShell as administrator and resetting execution policies
- Disabling all Acer services and scheduled tasks before reinstalling
However, after rebooting, the corrupted value reappears in the same registry key, and the SpatialLabs Experience installer still fails with compatibility or initialization errors.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?
Is there a clean way to reset the SpatialLabs registry entries and reinstall the software from scratch?
Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏
Thank you!
